First, a little background on myself. I just moved back home to the DFW area after 6 years in the military. While I was in Hawaii I bought a Sy and am looking forward to rebuilding it. Hopefully it will be on par with everyone elses on this site. Well on to the main reason I am posting this...

I have been living in this area for a few months now...without my syclone. I havent seen any around and was just wondering if anyone was around to mingle with or to help me work on it when it gets here.

Re: 2nd shifting hard (edited) I would recommend starting with the throttle cable as stated above. I would also suggest that you get it checked out at a transmission shop if that doesnt do the trick. I had the same problem a little while back but soon after it stopped shifting to 2nd at all...

Re: Fiberglass cladding???? How much did an entire setup run you? I seem to have another piece of cladding "disappear" on me while driving around. I am sick of this crappy plastic stuff and need something more durable...

Re: Water Spots That stuff sounds expensive...Where would I be able to find something like that. I had also thought about trying a bathroom cleaning agent like that CLR stuff. I thought maybe it was due to calcium or lime deposits in the water. :dunno:

Re: Water Spots Well, unfortunately I tried the vinegar and newspaper....It didnt work. I think I might try it with steel wool next...I'll let you know how it turns out.

I had some water sprinklers where I live spray on my truck one night and now I have these terrible water spots on the windshield. I have tried regular glass cleaner, and even took it to a self-service car wash to try to get them off with the high pressure sprayer. I am not sure what else to do...
