10-4- good buddy.

No other confirmed outlaw participants yet. A few are hoping and planning.

BTW How fast is your truck? Or how fast do you expect it to be?

As long as it runs I will be happy. I just want to get to nats and make a pass down the track with my SyTy buddies.

This has been in the racing rules language for a while now. I will try and get a clarification for this.

You think you can handle the dynamic duo of HARDman and Dobreak?

First of you got to get a running truck.

Then you want Dobreak to tune it, what makes you think he will make it any faster than HARDman's?

Cash talks, and I am taking donations to the "buy Dobreak something of his own to tune fund"......Highest donation gets the best tune :D :D

I would think there would have to be some sort of break system for the Hybrids-
Although I don't know what it would be.

It'd be fun just to see it run.

Ie, no odd-fire.

It also implied a cast crank. (no big $$$ billet)

The rules were written as they were to keep really big $$$ builds out of this class- bowtie blocks, billet cranks, super-killer rods, pontiacs, sheetmetal intakes, etc.

A lot of this was intended to be up to the judge's discretion. If a truck was meeting the spirit of the rules, they weren't to be bumped to pro for 1 non-rules part.
(Unless that part gave them an obvious unfair advantage)

I'm also of the mind that a turbo restriction should be in place for mod -
No 88s or GT42s or that kind of thing. Maybe a limit on wheel MM... ?

(Same should apply to Super Stock as well, along with the 3" inlet restriction)

Most of the rules have been rendered moot by the fact that nobody's ever challanged a part on anyone's truck. If there were more $$$ involved, this might happen more, but I kind of like the fact that it doesn't.

The tech people in the past have done a good job of keeping things fair, the rules are just guidelines to the participants, really.
