My only real pressing issue is still TC/Trans related. I just don't know how or what the deal is.

Tach Bounce

You can see when I let off at 2k rpm, the tach drops to 1k and bounces immediately up to 1500 rpm. It does it twice as I'm slowing for a stop sign. I tried to get some more movies of it happening, but my memory card was full.

Not too bad though. Made it to the gas station, put $30.10 of fresh 91 in it (no not a full tank. that's too expensive :lol: ) and made it home. I've got some books and a CD to return to the library today, so I may go for another drive.

Time to start working out the rest of the bugs. :tup:

Oh, and one more note... Greddy Profec B's don't like Open DP's. They can't keep up. My low boost setting is supposed to be ~5psi... Open DP hits 10psi. :lol: :lol: :lol:

It's funny that my autometer tach doesn't bounce at all while I look over at the factory unit jumping up and down like a parkinson's patient. :squint:

same place I am. I drove mine today. Tach will jump all over and hit the boost gauge. Trans shifts too early in 1rst and 3rd, just right in second. Sounds good.

I wish mine were just bouncing... Sadly, I know there's something wrong somewhere, because I can feel it in the trans/tc... It's almost like the TC is locking/unlocking. It's kind of a "free-wheeling" feeling and it sounds like i have a manual trans and I'm downshifting when I approach a stop sign... only, there's no actual gears being changed. :lol:

Weird thing is, all forward and reverse gears work just fine. It only does that when you let off the throttle and start slowing down. :dunno:
