Re: In search of pics of Autometer gauges (lit up)
Get a set of 4/6 and single LED's. Price wont kill you and you have a comparison. The 6 LED didn't fit my VDO gauges but ...

Re: Pictures of the European meetings
You're funny! I've never found a road in the US coming close to European roads. I'd never take my Ty beyond 130 mls on the crappy roads here but took it almost daily up to these speeds while the truck resided in Germany (fun to scare people with a brick)...
Re: shipping overseas?
Late reply but...
If you ship FROM company TO company it's worth to contact BAX Global.
Shipped recently 93 kg = 205 lbs and for example a 71 Buick Riviera dashboard (that thing is LONG). Shipping costs were US$ 143 and it took just 4 days.

b.) Just replace the ball joints (guess you can get them as spare part)?

I also went with the blue ones from superbrightleds.
For instruments they are OK but the 1157 style for the tail lights or turn signals are not to recommend (at least IMO).
See pictures of my shifter, the gages (VDO black) and the LED's...
Re: anyone used an H3 bulb to replace backup lights?
Get the 50 W direct drop in replacements. Do NOT drive too long backwards (heat). I have one "beep-beep" 50 W in the garage, swing by, it's a truck man though not a big rig :-)
Re: A/C R12 retrofit
@sytyguy
Any online sources or just go to an A/C shop or parts store?
My compressor is leaking at the bearing and a new one is already sitting in the garage BUT I don't want to hassle with the expensive R12 anymore.

Re: Oil pressure gauge spun around
@666 Sothis 666
Finally it hit you too - LOL
Just turn it back, if you want remove the needle stop at the bottom; pull it simply out, you don't need.
Or break a small pin, take a lighter and heat it up and CAREFULLY put it as needle stop on top (worked for me...
