FYI: C5 Calipers bolt up to Camaro brake brackets

Re: FYI: C5 Calipers bolt up to Camaro brake brackets the offset for the abutment brackets is different, as well as the rotors. The spacers in my kits are different for the c5/c6 and the fbody ls1 calipers. So there is a small chance that this could just be solved with a different sized spacer.

FYI: C5 Calipers bolt up to Camaro brake brackets

Re: FYI: C5 Calipers bolt up to Camaro brake brackets show me how much you need to modify the brackets...I'd be happy to make a different version for this if need be.

PA FS: ATR Headers, $650 obo

these were previously "sold" but buyer changed his mind due to $ tree not blooming this spring. In pretty good shape. The only real issue is the turbo mount flange, 2 of the holes got stripped, so they've been weld-filled and are ready to be re tapped. I was going to use these but obviously...

    Backwards Flexplate

Re: Backwards Flexplate can definitely be done. unbolt the driveshafts and tranny mount and bellhousing bolts and slide the thing back. You only need about 2-3" of clearance to get the bolts out

    Hood release issues/hood height

Re: Hood release issues/hood height if you try raising those 2 bumpers (they are threaded, you can adjust the height by twisting them) and make them too high...it will make the hood extremely tough to open. don't yank too hard, it's pretty easy to break the cable, or pull it out of the release...

    rear suspension

Re: rear suspension you haven't heard that suggestion before because it's a Renz original  I have considered trying this to see if it would work - I suspect it would, for a while anyway...until the poly wore out or decapitated itself. I'm sure this isn't ideal, and would also promote a...

    rear suspension

Re: rear suspension avoid bumps. remove as much weight from the rear as possible. stop driving. These are the 3 top ways to cut down or eliminate the banging. You could go to a taller poly bump stop that is in contact at all times...but pretty much no matter what you're going to get some...

    Huntington, WV... what's it like?

Re: Huntington, WV... what's it like? if you'd be working that much, I don't think you'd really care that much about your surroundings, since you wouldn't have anytime to enjoy them if there was something to enjoy.

Trans/ stall options for the TT Jimmy

Re: Trans/ stall options for the TT Jimmy I'd be afraid of snapping a 700 every time I hit the throttle. What size turbos are on it? Is the motor stock, or does it have goodies inside? Could just be a non-ideal combo.
