1993 4.3 engine swap

i have a complete '93 4.3 out of a full size gmc, i pulled the intake off and there are plastic lifter keepers on it. My plan was to build this motor up and swap in the sy, then just freshen up the original to put back in when i got tired of playin at the track or when i chuck a rod out the side lol. My question is what are the differences between our stock engines and the '93 that i have and is it possible to swap them?

i have a 93 block it runs great i just upgraded the pistons and freshend the block too so it'll handle itself pretty good

go into "the vault" section and do a search for the "holy grail" of 4.3 info, everything you need to know will be in that article, it helped me out a lot.
