Last saturday night I decided at the last minute to go to Green Bay to cruise with the Ty now that the paint is done, and the rims are on.

I spend about an hour cruising the strip before I finally spy a potntial race as I swing back onto main.

I take off to catch up, hoping for a light at Mason & Main. To my amazment, I get one!! 8)

So Im waiting for a light, not sure if he wants to play or not. Hes bottled up tight inside with windows so black they matched the car.

The turn arrows come, and I start spooling slightly just in case. When it goes yellow, I hear him start to rev and I know were on!

Instantly he drops back about two car lengths, and never recovers. We catch up to traffic doing about 70 and have to brake. We hit the next light, and his window comes down instantly!

He immediatly asks me what ive got, cause he said he could hear "Something wind up". I assure him its not a supercharger like he thought. Tell him its only a turbo six, and he insists it MUST be modded to hell. Naturally, he has no idea what a Ty even is!! So, we take off from that light still talking, when he asks to go again from our 25mph roll. We blast, and this time we go to about 65 with me having 3/4 of a length on him.

He again smiles and says he had only been beat 1 other time in 1 1/2 years. Granted Green Bays not a real "race rich" area, but I was happy with the old girl for doing me proud!

Nice ::eek:k:: I've put away three different LS1 WS6's now...they used to intimidate me, but not anymore :D It's always nice when they have no clue what your truck is, he he.
