Hi DaveP’s Ghost,
I saw your comment on the auction. I’m in So Cal as well and I’m looking for a good mechanic that knows these cars. Are you close to Moreno Valley or Riverside or would you happen to know of any mechanic out this way or nearby?

I'm in Torrance.
There is a SyTy guy in Moreno that has experience with these. He's not a mechanic by trade, but is pretty handy. He's been helping SyTy DIY'rs for a long time with these trucks. I'll drop him a text to have him look at this thread.

Awesome! Thank You , I appreciate that.
can I keep you as a contact for future assistance?
For example my ABS are not working properly. From your experience, do you think it’s best to fix them or go with the ABS delete?

If your truck is fairly original, and originality is important to you, the 91-92 ABS system is worth fixing. I personally don't have any objections as to how the ABS influences braking in a 91-92. In the 93, which uses a different braking strategy than the 91-92 system, I found myself close to wrecking in two similar circumstances where I was braking at the limit and ABS was triggered which drastically reduced the braking effort just when I needed it the most. I deleted my 93, and suggest other 93 owners do also, if preserving originality isn't important.
