I have a 4l80E in my chevrolet k1500 6.5TD (1995 with 150K miles).
when i put it in reverse the truck backs up, but as soon as i hit the gas, or when it's pushing a trailer,or backing up against a hill, it will slip.
when i put it in lower gearing, it becomes alittle bit better.
To me it sound like the reverse cluthes are burned, but could it be anything else?
as far as the rest of teh transmission, it shifs good and firm.
Maybe this should be in the offtopic, but hey, alot of people doing a 4l80E swap so...
Thanks
