Im planning on doing my fuel pump walbro 255 hotwire and 60lb injectors and 3 bar map with chip. Im wondering if I could get some advise on how to change the injectors is it a big job or is it fairly easy? Does the upper intake need to come off? any help would be great thanks.

Re: 60lb injectors

I just replaced my injectors this past weekend. No need to remove the upper intake but if you still have the stock w2a intercooler that needs to be removed therefore draining the coolant from the lower intercooler. I also disconnected the fuel line and the fuel pressure regulator just so I had more movement of the fuel rails easing the removal and replacement of the fuel injectors. Also when installing the new injectors use some silicon based grease on the o-rings of the new injectors.

How many hours my w2a is already drained and removed because im changing my lines so I have good access to the fuel line and the regulator.

If you're patient and gentle, and already have the upper IC off, it doesn't take very long at all. Criley info is good and will help.

Maybe go to you tube and watch a couple videos of others doing it so you can get a general idea of some of the steps. Your vehicle is a little different form what's out there, but you can get a better idea of it. Not really that hard.

I was going very slow and trying to be patient and it took me 3ish hours including removing the w2a intercooler.

Not a hard job at all. Just take your time, drink a little beer and enjoy it.
