Re: 8"SUBS?

My 4 1/16" depth sub barely fit and didn't sound good because it didn't have enough breathing room. I am going to do a fiberglass enclosure, should save me a little over 1/2" vs 3/4 MDF and I am thinking about try a 3.5" depth sub. I am hoping to have 1" of clearance with my seat all the way back. JL Audio is also coming out with a 2.5" sub this coming fall, that should have enough room for Sy owners as well.

Re: 8"SUBS?

I have 2 10" JL Audio W0's in a dealed box run by an Xtant 3300 amp. The amp puts out 150 X 4 and 300 to the sum channel I believe. I also have Q-Logic kick panels for highs and mids. They go down near the floor on both sides of the cab. These would sound really good in a Sy as well. The picture isn't right on the panel but you can see the speakers down by the floor. The setup I have is extremely loud and clear. Works good for all types of music.
