Awh crap, Tylers was one of the cleanest around. Hopefully the engine bay area is not included in the damage. His paint was really clean too. Is the 240 a possible daily driver? We're all praying for a fast recovery.

As far as rules go. I just confirmed the old "If you drop it, the engine compartment will swallow it" rule. I had been wondering where the hell my favorite set of wire cutters had gone for a while. Even suspected the wife had used them to trim the roses. So, yesterday I am re-adjusting my wastegate rod and managed to find my favorite set of wire cutters, resting on the frame. WTF.... Now if it will just give up my 10mm socket.

We found a nest of some sort hiding between the valve cover and intake under the intercooler on Adam's truck.
I think it was keith who found an extra pair of pliers or something in his new ty. Buy a used truck, and get the included $50 in lost tools.

Believe it or not, a friend of mine was changing the intake gasket on his full size chevy truck and to our surprise found a screw driver in the lifter valley.

I was pulling out of the parking lot at work and checked the street in both directions. Empty. Parked cars along both sides. I look to the left - empty...look to the right - empty...start to roll out and look back to the left...BMW 1 inch from the bumper...hit the brakes...too late...rolled into each other at less than 5mph. She was parked on the street and started to move when I was looking to the right. Her damage: pushed the RF fender in and scratches. My damaged: Totalled. J/K. Bumper pushed back where it touches the cladding on LF side (ie: no gap between cladding and bumper) and scratches. Bumper light pushed in. The LF cladding arch is about 1/16" away from the body where the front bumper pushed it back slightly. Driver: fucked brutally pissed.
It's not that bad of damage, but I'm still pissed off that I rolled into her...I'm such a better driver than that...I can take cloverleaf turns at 70mph for 10 minutes and can't pull out on to a sidestreet...oh well. Maybe I can use some of the money for the bumper to help with the cost of new paint scheme anyway... :smile:
Thanks for the comments and concern guys...you should all follow Ian's gesture and wax your trucks once for me...that will be the only time it gets waxed this year for some of you... :razz:

Damn, that's shitty, sorry to hear it. I had similar damage to my Ty. It got hit in a parking lot while i was in a Dunkin Donuts and the jackass drove away. My front bumper support was a little bent and it caused the bumper cover to be pushed up, along with the bumper lense pushed in. Pretty easy to bang everything back into shape once you get the cover off the support.
