Wow! I finally got around to working on mine today. Been without A/C for almost 2 years now. Had an issue where it charged up, blew cold, but then a week later, nothing at all. Held the vacuum fine, but checked all my O-rings anyway. One was definitely chewed up (prolly the culprit) and changed all the others. After seeing that orifice tube, I'm thinking a flush and new orifice tube is definitely in order before I proceed any further.

When I bought the truck, someone tried to "fix" the AC before I got to it. I changed the accumulator about 6 months ago, but like a dummy I didn't think about the tube till now.
It actually worked not too bad till the clutch died, I still might flush, waste $30 of r134 but better then a new compressor. I'm assuming the flush will ruin the accumulator also?
