Alky Tank Location

In the process of installing a Snow Alky kit and was wondering what to use for a tank. I was going to use the washer bottle tank, but the pump I was going to install under the battery tray and instructions state to keep it within 2 feet:rant:.

My other option was to buy another coolant tank and use that and a small cylindrical overflow for the coolant in the grill area.

Anybody have any other thoughts, pix, etc... search didn't give me much???

On the Razor kit,he uses a modified overflow tank for the Alky (maybe you can buy one from him?) and a small coolant overflow that I put near the brake booster.

in this thread I believe you can see how I did mine. My tank is Drivers side front and the pump is just below the tank. If all else fails just come over to my place and check it out.
I am in Woodstock Ct. Its about 15 minutes from RI.

Found new tanks online for $30, might just do that and modify myself, then do what you did with coolant tank.

That's exactly where I have mine mounted. I got an overflow tank from Schucks for $8.

Yea, I'm brainstorming moving the overflow to that side too, so I can make an Rpm style intake

Not going to work for me oil filter, ABS and stock intake has that corner taken.

I ordered a new tank from ebay for $28, will just use that and move the coolant overflow somewhere else, order a cheap cylindrical one or make one???

see how much room you have, then take those measurements to the junk yard, find one the works
