So today I went to order my trans parts from a good guy here in town and I was in my work truck (94 GMC 3500). We get to talking and I told him since he's been such a big help to me over the years that I would take my trucks to him to be serviced, especially since I dont like getting under vehicles these days. So he gets under and looks and tells me Ive got the 4L80E. Now I never even have looked under there but I started imagining ways to justify swapping trannies from my 1 ton to the Phoon. After about 5 hours of senseless droooling, I came to the conclusion that that was a stupid idea and not worth it since my work truck is pretty much my job. Oh well.
