Another problem with my syclone...

I know the trannies on these things take a beating but how often does it need to be rebuilt? My truck shifts good and solid but whenever im stopping and it downshifts into first, it clunks and you can feel it. Am I screwed?

depends on the clunk.... but the downshift clunk is normal for most....

but it doesnt clunk in any other gears... only when im about to come to a stop.

when your clunk is gone, you have a problem. Enjoy your clunk while you still have it.

Hey buddy, I hear the same thing. From what I've heard it's normal...I think it's the TCC disengaging...could be wrong though. Just be thankful your tranny still holds fluid
