I've been running 245/45/17's and 315/35/17's on ZR1 wheels for about 2000 miles. The "tire calculators" show them the exact same size and I took it for fact. Well, I decided to measure them on the truck and there is slightly less than a 1/4" difference with the fronts being shorter. Now I'm paranoid that the difference is why my 40K mile trucks propshaft boot tore ( after all its only 20+ years old). And I'm worried I'm damaging the transfer case. Although I haven't been driving it due to the 95+ heat here. Anyone care to ease my fears or cause more
Thanks, Ross
