Any Ideas???

so my speedo has a mind of its own, when I start my truck and shift into reverse the speedo reads 20MPH. When the truck moves the speedo seems to move accordingly. My buddy and I have been arguing about the cause of the "crazy speedo" for a week. I unpluged the speed sensor and the needle still acts like its posessed!! When i unplug the DRAC the needle does not move at all. Any suggestions?? My friend swears that the DRAC never goes bad but i think I am gonna buy another DRAC and see where that takes me. The few times I've seen this...... the wiring on the truck was ****ED!!!! So if your truck is a wiring nightmare (wire nuts, bare wires, twisted copper exposed, etc.) then you know your cause.

If not, check your grounds.
