Re: any interest in tech sessions@homecoming??

Here is what I think will work best for code59 session.

We can get the projector, maybe in a room at hotel or side of building I can give the basics of code59, what you need, etc. Just a real quick overview of what files/programs/hardware are needed, how they interface, etc. I will be sure to have a flash drive with the files we can swap around also. 45 min max.

From there we can go to the parking lot. Anybody that wants to bring their truck, equipment, etc feel free. Myself, dig and anybody else that knows code59 and wants to will be there to provide tech assistance on the spot jump from 1 truck to another as progress is made, questions asked, etc.

This will give many examples hopefully to watch, not just 1 truck. I would say 3-4 hours here.

Afterwards once people are more familiar, fresh in their mind since THEY did it we can sit down again maybe this time in a specific truck with projector and go over some of the pitfalls of tuning, tips, and the finer points. Answer any questions people have, etc.

If we do this say Friday it will give people another day to work on the tunes, ask questions and maybe try it at the track and tune there also.

Be a matter of working it into the event schedule, setup a specific time for it to happen. Earlier the better so people can plan for it.

If dig drives maybe he can bring some of his toys for the after session and so some bench simulations, show and tell type stuff. We can also show some of the new features we are working on, discuss them, get new ideas, etc.

I have nothing bad to say about PLX stuff yet.

If you bring a LC1 and have issues expect me to say a few words I learned in french.

Just about any aftermarket WB will simulate the NB if you want, so a 2nd o2 bung isn't needed.

With code59 "patching" goes away, all this is built in.

I HIGHLY suggest, almost demand people have the WB wired up ahead of time. If they want to leave the o2 sensor out, and not power it up fine. But if your spending 2 hrs installing a Wideband you have had in a box for past 4 months and wait until homecoming parking lot to get that done I think your short changing yourself. You will spend most your time installing something you could have done at home, and not able to take advantage of the more tech stuff.

Thanks, AJ. I'll bring all the tools and stuff. It'll be a prepped unit so no fluid everywhere for cleanup.
