anyone else contacted via email about syty?

Anyone else get emailed about Syclone/Typhoon. Read attached.
This showed up at my lesser known email address today, and I can't recall ever using it in the syty world. He seems nice enough. Just curious if anyone else had received this?


Sir, I am a retired senior in Ohio ( former Vietnam Vet) who is
actively seeking a stock, all original Typhoon or Syclone. I have funds
available and could conclude a deal asap.

I was wondering in your dealings and communications within the Sy/Ty community
if you could keep me in mind if any become available ? I do check the board
and will continue to do so, but any help or assistance would be greatly
appreciated. Perhaps if you even observed one in your local paper ???

Ditto. At least he is very polite, and it's well written.

It's much better than the "Hey, I saw you own a Typhoon, is it for sale, contact me." email that went around last year. That one was completely rude.

Don't bother me none, but a glance at trucks for sale yields like 10 or more nice trucks. I'm not on Buick.com....probably should be.

That's Les from this board? He emailed me too, though he asked all about my truck. He's a great guy if that's him. I talked to him for a long time on the phone one day, can't say enough about the guy!

interestingly, i also am from ohio, although i live across the border in pa now. have the guy contact me and I'll try to help him find one too. unless it just got sold, i know where there is a white/white ty that seems pretty nice around me for about 10K
