Removed the factory plastic skid plate and just left it off and still drove your truck around?I took mine off,and the 2 back bolt holes were cracked out.I'd still be able to reinstall it,but if I don't really need it,I'm not putting it back in.I do have one of those 1 piece aluminum scoop/skid plate made for it,but won't be able to install it yet.Just want to know if it's safe to drive around without the plastic skid plate?

I don't have one. I'm pretty sure 90% of the trucks out there don't have them anymore.

Mine bit the dust eating an empty 5 gallon sheet rock bucket on the highway... oh poor plastic shield. I am thinking of some type of guard to protect my new a2a though...
