anyone use the transco shift kit?

I was wondering if anyone on this site uses the transco shift kit for out trucks. My buddy at my old shop is gonna install the kit in a week or two. I just wanted some feedback if any....if you dont use the transco what do you use?

I am rebuilding my trans now and am putting larger valves and servo in to inprove my shifts. Are your clutches going to hold up to your kit? Are you getting a complete rebuild and kit or only kit?

I've got a transgo shift kit and it shifts like a beast, but that might be because of Hartmans stage IV with upgraded boost vavle!

Yeah, Malik, since you weren't working from a SyTy VB, that was your only real option. The Kit I sold you also makes a lot of difference. The TransGo shift kit is a nice one if you have a VB that is from some other vehicle but it is a total waste of time if you have a good working SyTy VB. You'll basically get it back to were you started. You'll build a SyTy VB back into a SyTy VB. Skip that kit and go with a good TC and new HP PR Valve line up, if you plan on not going in a rebuilding it for now.
