ATR downpipe blow out

Hey guys, I ran across this on the Jeg's website and wasn't quit sure were to post it, BUT, it looks like they are blowing out the ATR # TY301 Typhoon downpipe kit. I don't know how many they have. Here's the link.

Does that mean that you cant use this downpipe with a stock turbo, and is the wastegate not included or what?

60+ HP gains from bolting on a downpipe???? BS.

No you can't use this DP with a stock turbo.

60HP Gains!! Ha!! I'd love for someone to hold them to their claims, or for them to substantiate it.

I changed from the stock 2.5" downpipe and stock turbo at 15 PSI boost to a PTE mandrel bent 3" downpipe and PT51 turbo, and at 15 PSI boost, my net gain was approximately 0HP. The boost control did improve a huge amount though.

I wonder if anything else from ATR is being blown out? I searched JEGS and couldn't find much else for the Syclone.

To answer your question... I didn't remain at 15 PSI boost for very long!! Check out my 11 second Race Report for all the details and then some. A great source of information if you've never read it, and don't mind me speaking for myself

Jegs had these listed about 4 months back and i called and askeed how many they had and they said they only had 3 kits in stock, and that was after ATR folded, and then a llittle while later the listing was gone, wonder if they found somemore or never sold them from lasttime.

Also this kit is designed to use the Buick GN Garret Turbo, and along with this kit you ned the 3bolt to 4 bolt turbo adaptor, and with the GN turbo and this DP kit you can gain maybe 60HP, not to sure about this. This is the old school way of upgrading these trucks, i think the PTE parts are much better.
