Kinda ricey, who needs remote control guages? :-?
I agree with the remote control thing, but I believe thats only needed to make the changes and datalogging and stuff, not like youre gonna go down the road playing with it. The technology is pretty amazing and after watching all that stuff, depending on price, I might have to look into them for my new interior project I have in mind.......they would definately been more interesting than the Dakota Digitals I was going to use, but Im still not sold on the whole electronic boost gauge thing yet, but we'll see.

I like em too. They do have a rice feel to em, but I like that they are all daisy-chained together with a single sensor unit. This way you don't have a shitload of wires/lines coming throught the firewall and you can expand or change gauges easy. I'm leaning towards the Ultra-Lites, but I'd look into these. I'm sure AutoMeter had these in everything at SEMA.

yes i saw these at the SEMA show and they are actually pretty classy and neat looking. The remote control deal is kinda overkill, but overall the way they change color and the clarity is very nice. We can do a GP on these if anyone is interested.

the best thing to me is the warning light function where the entire gauge changes color. how accurate are electronic boost gauges?

Dear Sir,

The Nexus gauge series is currently scheduled for a January release. As
we get closer to then, the release date will become more firm. Please
feel free to check back with me via email for updates.

As for pricing, the individual gauges with senders will sell for
approximately $199-249.00 each. The Sensor Module and Remote is sold as
a kit for approximately $199. This is required for Nexus gauge
operation.

The initial lineup is for the following 7 gauges:

6455: Water Temp (100-260)
6459: Boost/Vac (30 In. Hg. / 30 PSI)
6445: EGT (0-2,000)
6453: Oil Pressure (0-100 PSI)
6456: Oil Temperature (140-300)
6474: Nitrous Pressure (0-1600)
6463: Fuel Pressure (100 PSI)
6400: Sensor Module + Remote Control

We have tentative plans to offer additional instruments, but these will
be finalized and announced in the coming months. The first of which
will likely be a tachometer to be available in the early Spring of 2005.

Sincerely,
Marc Erickson

yeh that seems a bit pricey.. FOr that price I would pick up some SPA dual gauges. Probably would be cheaper anyways if you were buying a couple gauges. They also now have a blue backlighting in additional to the green and red..

That sounds pretty accurate compared to the Defi gauges. Their price range for the gauges is very similar and the control unit is about $115.

Do the SPA gauges only come metric?

Yes they do sound somewhat pricey, (both the Nexxus and SPA gauges) but a good set of gauges is nonetheless pricey and a worthwhine investment IMO.

The digital readout ones that SPA sells aren't all that easy to read either while driving around.

I'd prefer ANALOG ones myself but thats just me.

SPA Technique is local, they have the local US Headquaters here in Indy, I've been down there a time or two. Nice stuff and a nice shop !
