Best way to lower a Syclone ( I just want it to sit level)

I have a Sy and wanted to know what is the best way to lower the truck and make it sit level. I know I can go with block in the rear but what is the best size and who's should I purchase? Also do I have to do anything to the front like tighten the torshen bars? Also will lowering the truck hurt 60ft times? Will lowering the truck help it handle better?

Hey Bill,
I used the Bel Tech rear drop springs on Jas's site to get my Sy sit level. Pretty reasonable price.

go with the drop springs. it is the best way! with the drop blocks you will hit the bump stops all the time. I have tried both and would not go back to the blocks. The springs are a little stiffer but if you are worried about 60' times the springs are the way to go. I will be going to the track as soon as it dries out :( . they have had to call off two playdays because of rain now it looks like this time it will be because of snow.

Park your vehicle on a level surface. Measure from the exact center of the rim straight up to the bottom lip of the fenderwell. Do that front and rear and see what the difference is between the two. That will be what is needed to level the vehicle. To help keep from bottoming out in the rear use a good mono tube shock (KYB Mono Max). You can also trim your bump stops a little shorter. Good luck!

PS: Don't try using fat chicks to lower your vehicle, it will just slow you down.
