Your engine is smaller than the SyTy so this is actually a lot more impressive in that regard!
Sure, it has no cladding and two extra doors but people have been talking about the full size Typhoon - Mattw's project I think?

I don't know what the big gun title achieves - is there a secret forum where knowledge goes? I hope you'll continue to post updates where us mortals reside!

yes you do. This community would not exist without its members. I'm sure some might be shocked by me making this post, as I know I'm not everyones cup of tea and I can be an asshole at times, but if you look at it, 90% of it is caused by people not following little rules. We very rarely have huge issues with members doing things they shouldn't, which is a good thing.
The rules that were put in place have been done so by members past and present, some mods, some just suggestions taken by members. Those that are "in charge" just enforce the rules that we set in place.
I really don't know where this truck belongs, personally I think it looks bad ass, but thats just me.
I can tell you right now I will not allow this to turn into another "LS" debate, so if that where it goes it will be locked soon.
Perhaps it should go to a vote and the members of SyTy.net can enter their vote privately and we'll see how it turns out.
I really don't see why this should be such a touchy subject. If we look at the facts, BMFB is a solid member, his passion about his truck is obviously in the same roots as SyTys.
As a community (thats not really getting any bigger), we really should decide if the prejudice against things that weren't born with cladding or have had V8's installed is killing us more than its saving us.

I think you should compile some of the longest standings members, to possibly rewrite the rules a bit.
Like Captain said this board isn't growing any. Brian has worked hard on this Red Head for a Year, and has supported .net for as long as I can remember. At all the events he always helps anyone in need. Heck he tuned my SY a few times and didnt ask for payment. Solid Guy Solid Truck "Partially"

As much as I hate to say it, the idea of a non-syty vehicle with a BIGGUN moniker seems wrong. If Jeff Scott runs a 10-sec pass in his 'vette does he get a BG?

well, I can see both sides, its all about your definition of the title...and I didn't think it was that big of a thing. If it helps
GM V6 turbo (cam/timingset/head gaskets/head studs/valve springs)
92 blazer frame/Vin/non-cladding
BW 4472 transfer case/prop shaft.
stock ty driveshaft (yea, the 2 door shaft fit after how far back I mounted the motor)
gm auto trans
stock blazer diff
stock bravada front diff
stock said motors PCM
I apprechiate the praise and the love for the truck! I'm also suprised to see such positive things said about myself.
if it doesn't get voted in I'll still probably enjoy driving it.
