all blow offs do generall the same thing. Some make a pfft some make a whistle and of course they range in price from 100-350.
I recommend going with a TIAL they are really nice and are the highest quality and also most expensive (i believe)
next would be an HKS sequential which a lot of guys are into, i dont care for its honkeyness (its big)
a cheap and cool sounding bov option could be a greddy they are nice and make a range of adjustable whistle noises which imo are the best sounding.

Both the HKS and our TiAL unit are about the same price, retail. The HKS unit is a good bypass valve; they make good products for the most part. Because of the 50mm valve, our valve flows more, faster than HKS valve.
There is a direct knock-off of our BOV being manufactured by TurboSmart, in Australia. They've altered the design slightly to allow for more valve lift, so technically, the TurboSmart unit can flow more volume while fully opened. I have a "sneaking suspicion" that they won't be making that valve for much longer

Bottom line: our gates and bovs rock. Synapse sucks; HKS is overpriced for anything good; TurboSmart is... well, not turbo smart.

I have a vortech BOV from RPM which sounds nice but at cruising speeds its venting a little. I have screwed down the adjustment screw but it still vents... Does the Tial vent at all other then when the throttle is closed?

I agree with the above post,Tial is the better quality of what's out there. Have had friends that love there raptors and vortech models as well though.. I heard of allot of people having problems with the cheaper knock off brands leaking boost

I have a TurboSmart on my truck sounds nice I have a pic of it mounded on the truck if some one in here will like to post the pic for me let me know.
