Body mount bushing question

I just ordered body mount kit # 3.4132 because it came up when I searched under Syclone. Well it turns out to be a kit for blazer/jimmy. When I contacted Energy Suspension they said it is the correct kit but it will just have extra bushings left over. Should I just return it and order kit # 3.4130 for a 4x4 regular cab Sonoma? I believe someone on here said they had the said problem also. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Body mount bushing question

im pretty sure i had a couple of extras when i did my sy, dont know what part # i got tho, if you got em, just use em, then you can have an extra laying around in case you need them later on.

Re: Body mount bushing question

I have the 3.4130 kit and the bushings with the steel ring are too big and don´t fit :(
Energy S. says they are the correct one´s for the SY, though?!?

Re: Body mount bushing question

I tried to fit mine up and 2 of my holes are to small for the bushings also. Is this a common problem? How has everybody fixed this? Different bushings, grinding the hole bigger?

Re: Body mount bushing question

what hole? Ive installed 4 sets of these and never a issue, best thing is to bead or sand blasd the old cups clean , Im installing another set right now with zero issues

Re: Body mount bushing question

Its the rear cab mounts. They are a different size than the front cab mounts and the core support. The rear measure about 1 5/8" and the others measure about 1 7/8 - 2". All the mounts in the box are the same size and part number. My frame and mount cups have all been sandblasted and repainted so thats not an issue.

Re: Body mount bushing question

on the syclone I just "clunked" them with a hammer a bit, also make sure the numbers are the same on the energy parts as ive had them make a boo boo

No way my bushings would fit, even with the biggest hammer ;)

And I emailed energy suspension...they say I hjave the correct numbers.

:(

Re: Body mount bushing question

Yeah mine wont fit by pounding them in either. Im going to try and return my kit and get kit #3.4130 for a 4x4 regular cab Sonoma. Z Ski thinks this is the correct kit for the Syclone. Does any body have a 3.4130 set sitting around that could tell me the part numbers on the bushings themselves?

I am very interested to get bushings that fit...

Re: Body mount bushing question

I have both kits and they come with the same bushings, the syclone cups are tubular while the typhoon are oval shapped
