Time for brake rebuild / upgrade. I want to use the stock calipers, drums, and rotor dimensions. I'm looking for hints and advice regards performance street pads and shoes, and performance rotors. Anybody using braided brake lines? PS: Be careful out there - the pics of wrecked Sy are heartbrakers. Gary & Ty 1845.

is there a drum to disc conversion around here somewhere?? what price are we looking at?

from what i read the baer are pretty good. well worth it especially if you have high trap speeds.

fwiw... i have seen al's rear brake kit... the thing is just amazing.. very good looking, very light... and a damn good price/performance factor...

Thanks to all. I settled on Porterfield carbon - kevlar Pads and shoes, but am still shopping for upgrade front rotors. I've contacted via e-mail VetteBrakes and Baer, but no response yet. I'll keep ya posted.
