This sounds like a fun show too. My friend with a GN forwarded this to me. SyTY are welcome, and it's free!! It's 5 minutes from my place if we want to caravan there.

Hey all, with no NATS event this year...the G.L.G. getting cancelled...this is a great event to bring a caravan of local trucks to. Hell, last month there were 8 Typhoons at the Fudruckers. This is a free car show where we are welcomed, and who in the SyTy world does not also love GN's & Turbo T's? Let's make the best of it (no SyTy specific show) and show up with some numbers.

Just got four new tires for it... I should just say f**k it and spend a weekend on it. Biggest thing is it needs to be data logged to make sure it aimt gonna eat itself and an alignment.

Get the alignment done, and stay outta boost until you get the data logging done. Tell them to stay outta boost too when they "drive" it

I am in the same boat you are. Mine needs an alignment and Data Logging. We should have a Chicago Sy/Ty Code 59 Party....... I would Pay someone to help do mine.

I got a place in Desplaines , just don't feel like loading it up on a trailer... my to do list is basically pull diff cover and replace gasket as the rear end stopped leakin, meaning its outta oil.... put prop shaft in , alignment , check intecooler pump. reinstall stock converter, put dash surround and heated controls in... and data log..... but then again that's all it needed for the past 14 years...... :lol:

You got 6 weeks! I know you travel a lot but.....how long we known each other.....and I have NEVER seen your truck. C'mon. Plus, you're way more mechanically skilled than I.

I'm more than happy to Datalog for anyone whenever we meet up. I have all the Programs and cables needed for Code59 and Datamaster

More mechanically skilled than you probably not.......... LAZIER than you..... most definitely..... :lol:

ask the bride to park in the driveway for a short time, ill stuff some money in the glove box, trailer it over and you can call me when its done... :tup::tup:

I will even supply my own jack stands.....

Back to the topic of the thread. There are loads of us around and we could make a good showing at this show. So far it looks like only Pearl & Krupa, and me are in. Ric appears out with a broken truck. I can set up a wrench session prior to this date if it'll help to bring out more trucks.So, if you're in post up if you're a maybe post up.

My truck's looking too ugly since half of the cladding either cracked or tabs broke off :( then there's the 3 holes in catback etc, lol. I'd go but I won't have it worth going by then.
