CTS connector & harness Query

Greetings y'all! Accoding to my well worn X9276 Sy /Ty Service Sanual (Code 14 - 15 pages, and wiring diagrams Page 39) the coolant temp sensor 410 circuit signal wire (yellow one) would be on the left side of the connector as viewed installed on sensor and w/ connector lock away from the viewer. Mine is wired "backwards." Only reason I found it is that BLM is 138 at start and RAPIDLY climbs and holds at 150 about the time the t'stat opens, but hasn't popped a code, so I'm working my way thru sensor checks IAW the manual. Interestingly it starts, ildes, runs etc much better w/ sensor disconnected, and BLM remains at 138 (not great, but betta than 150). I have new CTS sensor ready for install, but don't want to wire it backwards and maybe damage or get faulty readings. I hope a few of y'all will view your Typhoon CTS connector and discuss what you find. I graciously accept guidance and thank all for assistance. GDB & Ty1845.

I'll check my wires. BUT don't believe everything you read. I have the "pricey" factory manuals for 2002 and have found several misprints/errors.

Thanks gents, and especially to Dave. One less potential trouble source eliminated, I'll keep hunting for the real culprit(s). It is truly amazing that so many printed info sources contradict one another, eh? Guess it wouldn't bug me so if they were FREE. Ha
