Curious to if my Trans or Transfer case is ok?

I was able to drive the Sy pretty hard this weekend. After figuring out the fuel prb and the boost issue I decided on a few runs up to 80mph, nothing too hard. I noticed that it looses power after 3rd or so. It doesn't feel that the motor is losing power, it more feels like the transmission isn't shifting right and also eating up the power the motor gives it. I guess the best way to describe it is that the wheels feel like they are too stiff to roll freeley and something is "sticking" in the drive train? Or is this just because I'm used to my GN and this being AWD? I'm still not tuned correctly and know that there is more power available. But until I get that tune next month, I'm wanting to make sure that my drivetrain is ok. It feels ok, but not great because of what I described.

Also, 60-90mph is a blast! This truck feels more like a Porsche than a truck.

It sounds like it's pulling timing (knock). Is your TC locking when it should? Are your brakes dragging? I have never noticed a difference between a GN and a SY in a straight line. :2cents:

How would I know when or if my TC is locking correctly?

Good to know that it should feel like my GN, atleast now I can tell if something is up.

Sounds like it prb could be the timing, so I need to baby this thing until I get it tuned. Thanks.
