Custom Oil Pan or bang out the old one?

Eagle rods are hitting the pan, so while I'm taking the pan down anyone got a custom one for less than a $1000?

What's the SOP for doing this mod?

Anyone have any tips/tricks/experience at removing it with just the diff dropped down?

just start it up- it will work that clearance out.....
but seriously- we had to do it on Sean's truck & on my truck.....bust out the hammer and go to work.

You can spray the inside of the pan lightly with white paint and then turn the engine by hand til it hits. That will help you see where to dent the pan. I would also support the pan with a sandbag. Take your time and be careful to not warp the pan.

Call up Stefs oil pans. They made me a really nice pan for around $500. Just take your old pan take all the measurements and call them up. Be exact with the measurements though, cause its a buy you own it thing. I have pics on my web site
