***long*** cliff notes at bottom

I really need to stop getting under my truck. today get under to douse the bolts with WD-40 so they would come off easier for the lowering blocks install and notice oil all over the side of the gas tank I am like uhh that is wierd then notice it all over the bottom of the bed that is not good I think to my self. then look at the where the drive shaft goes in to the rear end and behold a little drop of oil. so I guess no lowering the sy, save the money I was going to spend on new u bolts and hardware and buy a rear pinnion seal. if any body has a part number and/or can tell me how on earth to do it, it would really help me out. hell if you are in or around boise and want to help that would be sweet too I will buy the beer.

***Cliff notes:

Rear pinnion seal is going out need part number and info on how to do it. if any body is in the boise area and wants to help its all the beer you can drink.

thanks

cool thanks for the PN#
it was 17.99 from shucks

talked to my dad, he also said it wouldnt be too difficult, just as long as I dont over tighten the crush collar. I will look through the repair manuals ans see whats in there. if all we have to do is take out the rear drive shaft we are lucky. I have had to take out the front diff and the tranny on different occasions, oh and the transfer case comes out with the tranny.

Cascading Inspiration
It looked like a real pain from reading the description, and I opted for shop repair.. cashed in at about 100 bucks.

So if you can do it yourself, do, take the left over money and buy tools and a beer.
