Hello friends,
This past weekend I did a dash swap in my Blazer because I was changing interior color from Grey to Tan.
I labelled all harness connections I disconnected but overlooked labelling any unused connectors.
Additionally, I have one small spade 4-wire (pink, blue, grey, black) harness connector that is attached to the ribbon wire harness that runs down the steering column, which has been disconnected and I cannot find its home(?). Can you help me locate this by viewing my attached photos please?
My intent was to only do the swap but I reused the factory 1994 Blazer harness, analog cluster, stereo and all original parts. I did, however, add a stand-alone power mirror harness, and a stand-alone "factory G.M." fog light harness but they haven't been plugged into the fuse panel as yet. Also, all the power options to the front drivers seat has been disabled and I have installed the tracks from the old manual seats.
My Blazer Specs: 1994, 2WD, 4.3L V6, CPI, 4L60, AC;
Let me attempt to attach some photos:
The old grey interior, followed by the new tan interior.

This is the 4-wire (pink, blue, grey, black) harness, with a spade connection, that is attached to the ribbon wire harness that travels up the steering column. Can anyone tell me where this connects? I've been looking but cannot find its home?

Additionally, over on the passengers side and under the glove box I have two connectors with no home that I did not mark upon removal of the old dash so I suspect that they were already unused.
When I checked my spare (parts) harnesses, which were from same year 1994 "4WD" Blazer, I saw those two harness Plugs (one is a 4-pin connector with a single yellow wire, and, the other 9-pin connector has 9 wires into it (blue/blk, brown, blue, purple/white, brown, green, pink/white, black, light green) being used and connected to a small control box that was piggy-backing the main computer. So, are these two connectors related to the 4WD system circuitry and not used in my Blazer as I suspect?

And finally, as previously mentioned, there is a single yellow wire on a 4-pin connector under the glove box that is not connected to anything in that location. However, as I followed that wire across the harness I see the other end is connected to a small black plastic cased control box on the lower left corner of the drivers side of the dash and the control box slides into a metal bracket.

So friends, I am asking for some assistance, from anyone (please), to clarify (1.) the location of the 4-wire spade connector under my steering column but which is part of the steering column harness, (2.) Whether the two (4-pin & 9-pin) connectors under the glove box are not being used in my 2WD application?
With many thanks in advance - Pete
