Okay I'll admit it I am a pain in the butt. I have the truck almost back together.
I had to rotate the engine to set the valve lash and to verify TDC on number one.
I need to stab the distributor and set it up for bigstuff 3. I have read all of the stuff I could find on the web. I am still very lost. I have cut a dizzy cap so I can verify number one cylinders post. I need to know where to set the rotor in relation to the degree BTDC on the balancer.
Do I set it exactly to number one post while at TDC or do I phase it BTDC the amount of timing the engine will see at full power plus 5 degrees? I am so confused on this! someone
help me out before I drink myself into a stupor. LOL
