Door hinge spring

Yeah so I changed out my door pins, bushings, fixed my crackhead window while I was in there. But I have to say this one thing...How the EF YOU SEE KAY do you get the friggin spring back in the door?!

You definitely need a spring compressor...there is a special tool just for that particular spring. try NAPA for the tool.

I just used a vice and some heavy duty zipties, once the spring is in the door just cut the zip ties :2cents:

that just sounds like it has bad idea written all over it. itd be my luck that thing would spring out and hit me in the face. :( but hey, if you can pull it off, go for it.

I used a giant screwdriver and a pair of large channel lock pliers :D I definately recommend safety glasses or a full face shield when doing it, :lol:
