HI LIST MEMBERS:
I HAVE A STOCK SYCLONE WITH 110,000 MILES. I HAVE A DRIVELINE VIBRATION BETWEEN 40-50 MPH. I HAVE THE TIRES BALANCED AND INSPECTED THE DRIVE SHAFT AND THE FRONT PROP SHAFT AND DIDN’T FEEL ANY PLAY IN THEM. THE ONLY PLAY I COULD FIND WAS IN THE FRONT OUTPUT SHAFT BEARING IN THE TRANSFER CASE. THE PLAY WAS VERY SLIGHT.
WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT? PULL THE FRONT PROP SHAFT AND ELIMINATE THE FRONT END? WILL IT HURT TO DRIVE WITH THE FRONT SHAFT OFF? CAN I CHANGE THE FRONT OUTPUT SHAFT BEARING WITH THE TRANSFER CASE IN THE TRUCK?
DOES ANYONE HAVE A PARTS BREAKDOWN OF THE TRANSFER CASE THEY CAN SEND ME?
