ElectriSyTy- batteries not included

So,
I was looking into building the first electric powered Syclone but after doing some preliminary research on the parts, I had to give up this wet dream. It would be nice to build one A La Tesla but right now it costs just as much as buYing a Tesla. The sum of the parts alone is way overpriced right now. maybe I still will down the line when I retire or sell both my kidneys.
It would be awesome to see someone with deep pockets build one of these into a crowd pleaser! Dual Warp 9's direct drive into transfer case and enough electron juice to make it scoot in the 1/4 faster than most modded cars with combustion engines. Maybe I could refinance my mortgage. Nah, money hungry bastards keep adding fees as it is. But, that's another story.

Agree would be cool just for kicks can you post the build and parts required. :)

Re: ElectriSyTy- batteries not included

A quick wiki search shows the S model has a 443 ftlb motor as standard. Assuming you put one in the front AND could deliver power at the same time, you've got an 886 ftlb monster. Interesting.

Yes, do please share the build sheet! Maybe this will happen one day. Do Teslas get parted out? Is there an industry for wrecked Teslas now?

Great idea.

Except it's not a Syclone anymore :rotf:

There are different configurations but this gives you all an idea. Keep in mind that the real expense is on the cells. You can find more info on YouTube and see what a performance purpose build does. Try white zombie, for example. There are several videos to watch of other builds.

Now if somebody can find a way around the batteries, watch out!
