Empty intercooler tank and white smoke

So I bought a 93 Ty a couple years ago, 1 owner and 87k miles and about 95% org. When I got it the fuel pump was junk from sitting. I replaced it with an AC Delco one and flushed the entire system. After checking fluids the intercooler tank was empty and I filled it, now it smokes white. Any ideas? Cracked heat exchanger? Sorry for the noob question I am newish to the Sy/TY world.

Use a pressure tester to check for leaks, pull the inlet hose off and see if gets wet inside, while it's pressurized

You could also have bad Turbo seals. The Oil is getting past the seals and igniting in the downpipe. Thus White Smoke.... They crack with age and sitting. Goto Sport machines and get a rebuild kit. You tube Video shows you how to do it search for td06 rebuild. If your not feeling brave enough Sportmachines can rebuild it for you as well. www.sportmachines.net
