English instructions for Blitz boost controller

Any one got instructions for the Blitz sbc id or the dual sbc spec R in english? or does anyone know any good japanese translators? :) I picked one up off of ebay from Japan and I was told the manual came in japanese. I sold some parts I had and got the bones to get a decent boost controller. no more having to get out and pop the hood and adjust the regulator anymore! let me know if anyone has anything. thanks.

I think I do......What do you need to know anyways? I was told it took 2 years to get it translated once it came out.

Is it an external wastegate? It's pretty easy to set up, I've set up a dual sbc R. Works great too.

I have one of the new external Minigates from RPM. I just got the boost controller in today. It's a Blitz Dual SBC Spec R. this one has everything the sbc id does i think, except the display is not as fancy. I plan to put this on in a couple of weeks. thanks for the link and Syclone #1992, check your pm's. :) thanks.

With an external here's how you do it. You've got 2 ports on the gate, one upper and one lower. Run a hose straight from the turbo to the bottom port.

Now for the upper wastegate port you will need to find another source of boost such as the manifold or like my friend's truck he has aluminum intercooler piping so we just tapped into that. Now run a hose from that second boost source to the black solenoid box that comes with the Blitz. That goes to the IN and then run a hose from the OUT to the top port on the wastegate.

Hook up the wiring and make sure the controller is set for external. Also you will need another source of boost (can tap into a vaccum line like the one that goes to the fuel pressure regulator) this one goes to the actual controller unit and tells the brain how much boost there is.

Now you will need to fine tune the gain and volume. The gain controls how fast the boost builds. You'll want to set it so the boost builds pretty fast but if you set it too high the boost may spike. The volume is based on a percentage. At 100 it will keep the wastegate closed and build up as much boost as your turbo can build. My friend's truck runs around volume 30 for 15psi of boost, not sure what the gain is set to.

Hey Sy-clone I think I might have the Instructrions, but I can't find out till tomorrow when I stop by my pops house. It's in my old room somewhere.Pretty sure it it's in my closet.Post it up tomorrow if i find it.

I have the SBC-iD II. Gain is set to 55 and boost value is at 44. This results in very quick spoolup with minimal spiking and actual peak boost around 17.5psi. The warning/alert feature is nice insurance too. Let us know if you need any help hooking it up to the external.
