Fiberglass Cladding... Who has it?

Who has the fiberglass stuff? How do you like it? Fitment? Does it seem stronger than factory? Does it fit just like factory?

Im sure a ton of you guys dont want anyone to know you replaced anything on your truck. Feel free to help a fellow SyTy guy out with a large truck decision.

I have a fiberglass front bumper... love it, much stronger than the stock stuff. My whole truck seems to be tweaked a bit, it doesn't line up exactly right but I could fix it if I weren't concerned with other stuff right at the moment :lol:

I haven't replaced any other panels but I bet they'd work pretty well for that too

Your bumper doesnt line up right because your truck is tweaked or because the bumper needs some work?

Pretty sure it's my truck, because it's the brace on the driver's side that is keeping it out of alignment. That frame horn was replaced at one point and I don't think it is quite as long as it should be, so the top of the bumper is pulled in some, which cocks the bottom out ... looks kinda funky.
Although, at the same time I know that my fender cladding isn't right either but I haven't gotten around to getting it all realigned properly.... the GT is priority 1 right now... I think I finally found an engine for it... since the one I bought 3 months ago never materialized and I am supposed to be getting a refund soon

His prices are good. Its worth the call. Gary is a great guy from the sounds of it on the phone.

Less than what people on here sell em for and they are supposed to be able to withstand alot more abuse and be more durable.

They match up to the stock pieces fairly well, right? I know a guy who needs a few pieces, but not a whole set...

I talked to him last night very great guy .He said the fitment is better than stock and they are way more durable than stock for a matter of fact he said he would put a gaurantee on them .The front wheel arch cost 375.00 the rear bed cap is 275 and a complete kit is 3800.00 hope this helps.

I have alot of wishes... one of them is a wish to accually have monies and can afford some cladding to modify up to work on my ext cab noma... an ext cab sy-clone would be awesome.

Well keep the dream alive buddy, I have been doing it for some time now, and its finally gonna come true hopefully before spring. If I can sell my damn corvette. Plus the Vortex project. Ima call this place and gets some quotes for my 4 door. I think fiberglass would be easier to mod/extend than the black plastic stuff anyway....

So jjorgensen52 is the ONLY one here who runs that cladding?
Or is it that no one here wants to fess up that thier perfect truck wasnt always perfect and original because a piece or two have been replaced?

You can PM me if you dont want to announce that a piece was replaced. I just want to know if the parts are good and line up! Basicly are they paint ready...?

went straight from my garage to the shop to be painted. It does line up nicely. I suspect I am going to be running a fiberglass rear cover on the GT as well, so stand by to hear about that
