Went to lunch today and was on the way back to work. When I came up on a new mustang that said roush on the back. I have been getting races accept at the track lately and then its usually gutted race cars(not that it make much difference in the outcome of the race). Anyway back to the story. Pulled up beside him and give him a snort or two. Sounds good with the new 4"exhaust. He looks over and has the usual "man I would so stomp your truck look" I motion for a race and he was like whatever. So I ease on by at 62-63 mph. I made it to the front of his car when I hear the down shift and he is on it for all she's worth. Guess he thought I needed the half a length he gave me. So I stab it and the race is on. Well such as it was.The truck dropped outa o/d and came to life about the time he got window to window with me. I looked over and I guess he had seen Knight Rider because he starts to role his windows up. But it didn't help him. I pulled away baaad Like 2 cars by 90mph. So I was like shit he didn't stay in it and let off. But he was still in it LOL so i hit it again and pulled out about 2-3 cars on him by 125 and had to lift for upcoming traffic. He flew by and cut through traffic like I used to do but I guess my age is getting the better of me. I went back over the log of the encounter ( yes I log just about everywhere I go LOL) and it said that I was on about 17 psi and the funny part is I never got over 4800 rpm. Wish I had got it on vid would have been funny.
