Yesterday was the first time I have been to the track since my build and I am very happy with the results. I went to atco with a couple of guys from NASTE and was very happy. First pass I rolled right in from the 35 minute ride there and and went 12.62 at 107.39 (1.908 60ft time really can't lauch it the truck goes all over the place) after having the truck sit for about a half hour I made a second try at it. The next pass was 12.31 at 110.55 (1.843 60 ft same thing it just spins all four tires). The thing that make me so happy about these passes is they were both done on only 14.8 pounds of boost and done with 93 octane gas. I was very happy and would like to thanks my dad, Jerry McCoy who has been great, Pete H. for helping me out when I need some direction and everbody else. With the right 60fts and some race i could run in the 11's with only 15lbs of boost and that would be great.

I am running McCoy's cam , which is basically a done over version of the ATR cam like 460 lift I think. But like you said this is what it run on the street everday which is great.
I think it is the 430 lift cam and I think with the 1.6 rocker on it it make like 458 or something like that I forget but it definately isn't the 512

you all should know that bill's syclone will be up for sale soon, he is happily engaged (congrads) I said this to him yesterday as well, but yeah.. public knowledge!!!

Yeah I am now engaged and very happy. I don't ever want to sell my truck I love it to death, but if I had to sell the truck to buy a house I would but, I know I won't have to.

Imagine how much you'd like the 512 AND 1.6 rockers! :wink: I'm thinking I can run a 12.0 with 12psi w/ a strong launch - will be giving it a try as soon as possible. Need to find out when Atco is open this Winter.
Anyway, those are some pretty good times - Congrats on those and your engagement! Now get yourself 4 drag radials for a wedding present and you'll be hooked up!

actually.......i just purchased the 512, and i hope to be installing it this weekend. im gonna start with the 1.5's and see how streetable it is. go from there. if it feels really mellow, ill add the 1.6's later. now i just need to find a set of self aligning 1.5 roller tip rockers. as far as i know im the only one running that cam on mccoys L35 heads. cant wait to see how it works out.

k:: Otherwise, driveability is great IMO.Don't know if it makes a difference, but I have McCoys Stage3 Vortecs, F.A.S.T., and a whole bunch of other expen$ive things on my Sy. :shocked!:

It was nice meeting you Sunday, and was good to see a # of our trucks together. You have a clean truck there. Low to mid 11's should be attainable with some more "seat" time. Congrats on the engagement...She is a pretty lady.
BTW I made a pass just after y'all left and got a new best...12.07 @ 111.30 w/1.73 short time, still having that wheel hop . 11's come January, I hope.
