Ford 9" rear end on Typhoon

all of you who have installed a 9", where did you buy it at? is it a regular mustang rear end that you can pick up from a junk yard? how much did it cost to fabricate on the truck?

You make it sound like that's the 2nd modification that you do to a Syty, right after an intercooler pump :wink:

Not many have done the 9" rearend, but I'd say you are better off calling some aftermarket companies to find 'em to bolt in. Mark Williams, Currie Enterprises would be the first 2 on my list probably...

Out of curiosity, I've heard like 500 questions from you relating to huge buildups costing big money. What do you have in mind? What are your goals? What is the budget?

I got mine from Lee Howie and Jerry McCoy.
The part (axles, diff, disk brakes)is about $2200 plus installation.
And that is for an 8" Ford which will hold giant horsepower (approx 1000 at least). Lee uses one in all of his builds including his 8 sec Mustang.
