Re: frame

I'm still trying to figure out why someone would drive all the way to to Ohio from NY for a friggin Blazer/Typhoon frame :screwy: Gas, tolls and time probably cost more than the frame itself.

Re: frame

Bare frames are not worth a lot unless you just need one. I have a bare Typhoon frame here for sale for price of scrap steel if someone wanted one, and/or it would help fix this obvious clear mistake.

When I replaced my frame on my typhoon many years ago I got a normal s10 frame, nothing special, and guess what as long as it is a 2dr, 4wd it is all the same.

Not sure this helps the deal, and the situation in general sucks. Value of a frame just isn't much, other parts bolted to it is where the value is at.

Re: frame

If its acceptable to Sean, I would be more than happy to make arrangements to purchase this one from twinturbo, and pitch in a few bucks on top.
Just trying to make it right.

Re: frame

I have one in NJ, I even mentioned it to him in one of his threads when he was looking. Its been sitting outside but its only surface rust. From the looks of the one above, id say its just as good if not in better shape.

Re: frame

Not trying to start shit, From what i can see those are stock welds OEM weld to be functional not pretty,
Now the 2 holes in the very front, at the bumper brackets Ive never seen those. Both pics are of the same frame, clean one is after shot blast.

Re: frame

The two holes in the bumper bracket means it has been replaced. Replacement brackets are bolt on instead of weld on, very common on these trucks because even a light hit will bend it.

The brackets on the front had a gm sticker on them.

There were more pics of the side of the frame, don't know if Brian got all of them or just posted a couple of them.
