front axle posi lock help

It has to be something wrong with the forum, or on my end, I dont know. there has to be some information here, I just cant find it. even when i go to the drivetrain section is only shows about a dozen threads

Im trying to do some research on the front axle posi lock. I have the posi lok unit. I have a front diff out of a donor vehicle. I was just going to swap the axle tubes, but the axles are completely different. help

It is my understanding that the axle tube and the axle must be swapped out. The one that the posi lock uses should be a two piece axle with a splined collar.

I have the axle tube and a axle. the donor axle tho is splined, our factory axle is a one piece with the outer flange. Im assuming I got the wrong donor axle?
