PROBLEM SOLVED - you guys saved me a bunch of time and effort. THANKS AGAIN!
Ok guys I am in dire need of some help. Here is my problem:
The truck was running lean and fouling out #1 plug - figured it was a bad injector and with 110k it was time for newer ones anyway.
Bought a set of 33#ers off of TYTILIDIE on the board. I installed them last night and buttoned everything up tonight. The truck just dry cranks but will not start.
I have checked all the vacuum lines, all the wiring harnesses, have good fuel pressure at the rail, and no codes on TunerPro. There are no fuel leaks anywhere I can see and I have the AFPR set at 50 just like with the old injectors.
I know the injectors are seated correctly on the rail - they were hard to get into the intake but they seem to be seated correctly there too and the rails bolted back up without forcing anything.
The injectors are the only thing that I have changed so I need to know if there is a way to determine if they are spraying or not. The plugs are bone dry when I take them out after cranking for a while. I am assuming this means the injectors are not spraying at all?
Can they be checked with an ohm meter or is there something I can look for in TunerPro?
My plan for tomorrow is to spray some starter fluid into the TB and see if it will even fire that way. The only other thing I can possibly think of is that I have a vacuum hose crossed??? I broke one of the hard lines to the map sensor but fixed it and I think it is reconnected correctly. But I would think it would at least try to start with that problem.
Any tests or checks I can perform would save me a lot of time and headaches and I would like a plan of attack for tomorrow. I really need the truck running by Thursday.
Sorry for the long post - just trying to get all the info out there. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Dustin
