Fuel pressure dropping

Heres the deal;
FP died. Lines were trashed. Bought new tank, comp engineering sump kit, MSD inline pump, inline filter, and alum line. Installed new system. Truck ran for a week. Developed a miss. Spit and sputter under load. New NGK's New Taylors, New MSD coil. New conrad cap and rotor. New Bosch O2 sensor. New vacuum lines. Put fp tester on shrader valve and pressure is 40 at idle. Blip the throttle and pressure DROPS!!
Turn the key and relay and pump kicks in and humms for a couple seconds, and kicks off. Pressure bleeds off in 2-3 seconds.

WTF?
Vacuum lines are attached to FPR. Stock FPR.

Sounds like you have a partial clog in your fuel lines. With all the new parts, something may not have been completely clean inside when you installed it. Try replacing the fuel filter and check your lines for kinks.

Lower FP when you hit the gas could be a fuel filter installed backwards. Double check that, its a very easy mistake. FP dropping after you just turn the key on.....that could be dirty injectors that will not fully close and continually leak fuel into the cylinder. Also could be a Bad FPR... FErn
