How old is the AFPR? Sounds like you may have a bad diaphram.

I think it is about 5 years old, but only has about 1000 or so miles on it. How would I test to see if it is in fact the diaphragm?

I would also like to thank you for donating (I think) the propshaft bolts for the raffle at nats. I won them, and hope to use them when I convert to a 4L80E.

It's pretty straightforward. Remove the vacuum line and see if there is gas inside it. If the diaphragm has been compromised not only will it leak vacuum, it was also leak fuel into the top of the AFPR:

The presence of fuel in the top of the AFPR is a dead give away that the diaphragm is shot...
